Whisky holds great meaning in our history, it helped make fuel in world war II and penicillin for medicine to save lives. Today whisky still holds important stories in our culture and has many meanings in my life. This ‘Whisky Nights&Days’ is inspired by those stories that we have with whisky. Each story may mean something different to all of us. The deeper you look into the paintings the more you find.
Blank Canvas
Blank Canvas will be a series of paintings that showoff how tattoos have entered into society and became the ‘norm’. The models have zero tattoos, TISK creates dynamic tattoos that show off and exaggerate the beautiful female form. Combining his passion for the tattoo world and fine art, all while showing off the female elegance. TISK brought Japanese masks into the paintings as a form of symbolism. The Hannya mask symbolizes female jealousy. Citsun are fox masks that are shape shifters.
